I love wine. I love discovering, tasting, talking about and writing about wines made with great care, passion and love. Often passion wines are great wines, although sometimes I find them merely interesting and informative and not to my palate. But who’s to say my palate is correct or, worse yet, superior to anyone else’s? I am a firm believer that you should drink the wines you enjoy, whether I would choose to drink them or not.

On this site I will introduce you to wine regions and wines you may not have heard about, but which I believe are worthy of your attention. And if you don’t already know those wines, you will thank me later when you come across one.

As I ease into retirement and begin spending more time in Europe (using Valencia, Spain as my home base), I will personalize the blogs with more observations, backstories, winery profiles, winemaker interviews, travel notes and other wine- or food-related topics worthy of a deep dive.
